南臺科技大學雙語教學推動中心為英國文化協會授權的雅思測驗報名中心，提供「線上報名優惠折扣碼」，考生可報名期限內任何城市舉辦的任一場次，透過折扣碼可折抵500元報名費。

若南臺校內有30人以上團報需求，可透過雙語教學推動中心於本校校內安排的特約團報考場，可享更優惠的報名費。
四、重要規定
雅思官方考試機構 Cambridge English 宣布，自 2025年5月1日起，所有參加雅思（IELTS 和 UKVI）紙筆考試的考生，僅能使用考試中心提供的黑色原子筆作答，不再允許使用鉛筆（無論是自行攜帶或其他任何形式的文具，皆不得帶入考場）。這項規定是全球統一實施，主要是為了讓閱卷流程更有效率、更準確。請考生特別注意，若使用未經授權的文具作答，該份試卷將不予評分，並可能導致考試資格被取消，更可能面臨五年的 IELTS 禁考。
雅思官方考試機構 Cambridge English 宣布，將自 2026 年 1 月 31 日 起全面停止雅思紙筆考試服務。因場次安排因素，英國文化協會將自 2025 年 12 月 31 日 後，停止在臺灣提供 IELTS 雅思紙筆測驗。考生仍可在臺灣報考最受信賴的 IELTS 雅思電腦考試。電腦考成績通常可在 1 至 2 天 內取得，並提供更多每週場次選擇、更具彈性的安排。此外，考生亦可使用僅限電腦考提供的 「單科重考」（IELTS One Skill Retake） 服務，以提升特定科目的成績。

Registration Information for the IELTS Authorized Registration Center at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST)
I. IELTS Test Registration Portal
- All candidates must register through the new registration website https://ieltsregistration.britishcouncil.org/ and apply the promo code SOUTHERN-2527
II. Request for Registration Fee Discount Code
The Center for Bilingual Education is an IELTS Authorized Registration Center of the British Council and provides online registration promo codes. Candidates may use the promo code to register for any IELTS test session held in any city in Taiwan within the registration period. The promo code offers a NT$500 reduction on the registration fee.

III. Group Registration Arrangements
If there is a group registration demand of 30 or more candidates within STUST, the Center for Bilingual Education can assist in arranging a designated on-campus test venue. Group registration participants may enjoy a more favorable registration fee.
IV. Important Regulations
The official IELTS test organization, Cambridge English, has announced that starting from May 1, 2025, all candidates taking paper-based IELTS (IELTS and IELTS for UKVI) tests must use only the black ballpoint pens provided by the test center to complete their answer sheets. The use of pencils is no longer permitted. Candidates are not allowed to bring any personal stationery or writing tools into the test room. This regulation is implemented globally to ensure greater efficiency and accuracy in the marking process. Please note that if a candidate uses unauthorized stationery, the test paper will not be marked, and the candidate may have their test results invalidated, their test eligibility canceled, and may even face a five-year ban from taking the IELTS test.
The official IELTS test organization, Cambridge English, has announced that starting from January 31, 2026, the IELTS paper-based test service will be completely discontinued. Due to test session scheduling arrangements, the British Council will stop offering the IELTS paper-based test in Taiwan after December 31, 2025. Candidates may still take the IELTS Computer-delivered Test, the most trusted IELTS format, in Taiwan. Results for the computer-based test are typically available within 1 to 2 days, and it offers more test sessions each week with greater scheduling flexibility. In addition, candidates may use the IELTS One Skill Retake service, which is available exclusively for the computer-delivered test, to improve their score in a specific skill.
